I plan to write up a set of reasons why current restrictions are a "brick wall". The Maryland case I read inspired me to add this poll. Someone is actually skipping all the formalities. Teeth are the same in all countries. Many countries use the same books. Practicing dentists in third world countries have probably seen worse cases than U.S. dentists just start out have seen. The Maryland program gets to the point. Foreign trained dentists can help on DAY 1. Give them a way in and get 2 years of service from them instead of wasting 2 years of their time on remedial studies. Allow let them be able to pay rent and eat while they are helping.

There are many ways for foreign trained dentists to make it into America. I married my wife, a foreign trained dentists, 10 years ago. I imagine there are a lot of us out there and from the amount of people joining this site, I believe I'm right.
